1st EU Civil Society-Industry Dialogue on "Ecodesign and New Business Models in a Circular Economy"
Brussels, 27 February 2014
The first EU Dialogue of the COBALT project took place on 27 February 2014 in Brussels and brought together EU key civil society and industry stakeholders, together with policy-makers and researchers to foster debate, networking and exchange on more sustainable raw materials management in the EU. In particular, it investigated the role of both Ecodesign (and specifically design for reuse and recycling) and at new business models that enable resource efficiency gains and a circular economy.
The EU Dialogue outcomes will be taken forward in a Dialogue Synthesis Report to inform future policy and research development, including the work of the European Innovation Partnership on Raw Materials.
